BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed Julie Alcala as senior wealth strategist.
Based in Chicago, Alcala will work with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, business owners, executives, and foundations. She will report directly to Chicago regional president, Stacie Kuhlman.

By GlobalDataAlcala has over 20 years of experience in the sector. Prior to joining BNY, she spent ten years at William Blair as director of wealth planning. Before that, she was a vice president in the family wealth management group at Credit Suisse.
Previous to that, she worked in public accounting at RSM, Deloitte, and Arthur Anderson & Co.

Schlosser as COO will also sit on the Pershing executive committee.
In the new role, she will be in charge of the firm’s operational functions and guide the firm’s strategic direction.
Furthermore, it hired Dan Steinberg as a senior wealth manager.
Based in Newport Beach, CA, Steinberg will be responsible for advising HNW clients and family offices. He will report to managing director Chad Johnsrud.
The platform’s purpose is to improve automation and integration capabilities, as well as offer enhanced data management and control capabilities to institutional asset managers.
Investment Operations will cover the same capabilities as Middle Office Solutions, including services to support the needs of the institutional asset management client base.
The Investment Operations platform also provides modular data capabilities for greater operational transparency and integration to outsource services and operations.
