Mr Valvo will be responsible for originating, structuring and managing credit transactions for high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals and further developing the firm’s structured lending capabilities in the region.
He will report locally to Paul Morton, managing director and head of business strategy and platforms for Barclays Wealth in the Americas and globally to Torben Nielsen, managing director and head of global banking and credit solutions for Barclays Wealth.

Previously, he held positions focusing on risk management and asset recovery.
