Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM), the asset management business of Lombard Odier, has appointed Carolina Minio-Paluello as Deputy Chief Investment Officer to develop the business’ pioneering risk-based approach to portfolio construction for institutional clients.

Ms Minio-Paluello was head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for equity and private investor solutions at CitiGroup prior to joining. Before that, she spent 11 years with Goldman Sachs and worked at JPMorgan Investments.

Minio-Paluello will be based in London and will report to Jan Straatman, CIO for LOIM.
