The UK recorded relatively moderate growth rates of 1.8% in 2010 and 0.8% in 2011, following the financial crisis. Growth then slowed to 0.3% in 2012. The UK’s GDP per capita declined by around 18.5% during the review period from US$46,080 in 2007 to US$38,897 in 2012.
