Swiss private bank REYL & Cie has appointed Pasha Bakhtiar as its new partner. Bakhtiar currently heads the group’s UAE unit REYL Finance (MEA).

In the new role, Bakhtiar will focus on digitalisation with responsibility for implementing its long-term strategy.

He will work alongside other partners including François Reyl, Nicolas Duchêne, Christian Fringhian and Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula.

Bakhtiar joined REYL Finance (MEA) in 2015 in the role of co-founder and CEO.

In his wealth career of over two decades, he also worked at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch (LODH) in Geneva and later launched LODH’s operations in the UAE.

Besides, he founded East Africa-focussed private equity fund Willow Impact Investors as well as served as the CEO of ES Bankers Dubai.
