The latest bilateral agreement with Slovenia brings the total number of such accords signed by Guernsey to 29.

It is the Island’s thirteenth such agreement with an EU Member State and the nineteenth with a member of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the international economic organization responsible for setting the globally accepted principles of transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes.

Prior to Slovenia, Guernsey signed a TIEA with the Czech Republic in mid September.

In June, the Republic of Slovenia entered a TIEA with the Isle of Man back.
