Genting UK is the largest casino operator in the UK, with over 40 casinos located from Edinburgh to Plymouth and in Mayfair its flagship Crockford’s. Genting UK is part of the Genting Group, one of the largest corporations in Malaysia with a market capitalisation over £25bn sterling equivalent and around 50,000 employees across the world.
The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials of Genting worldwide, Government Minister for Trade and Investment Lord Green as well as business partners and local dignitaries. Throughout construction of Resorts World Birmingham, nearly 2,000 jobs will be created and over 1000 will be created permanently upon completion- scheduled for 2015.
