AMINA Bank forms alliance with Pyth Network as data source, advancing banking engagement in Web3

Anika Sidhika July 02 2024

Swiss cryptocurrency bank AMINA Bank and the decentralised financial oracle Pyth Network have forged a strategic alliance.

To support its real-time pricing feeds, AMINA Bank will supply price data for digital assets to the Pyth Network, which will help users in many financial sectors.

The collaboration between AMINA Bank and Pyth Network demonstrates the bank’s commitment to innovation and to enhancing the public’s accessibility to digital assets.

By supplying this information, AMINA Bank hopes to improve the precision and effectiveness of the pricing feeds Pyth Network offers, which will eventually help users and applications in a range of financial industries.

Through this partnership, Web3 apps’ accessibility and user experience will be further enhanced, enhancing AMINA’s standing as an expert in digital banking.

The choice made by AMINA Bank to become a member of Pyth Network is an obvious illustration of how a regulated institution can function within a decentralised oracle network.

At a time when digital assets are approaching a new level of development, AMINA Bank is leading the charge to transform the banking industry’s role in the growing digital asset landscape as the first banking organisation to join Pyth Network’s data provider network.

AMINA Bank was founded in August 2019 with the goal of offering all-inclusive solutions for trading, investment, and custody of digital assets. The bank was successful in obtaining a Swiss banking and securities dealer license.

Moreover, AMINA Bank provides a distinctive value proposition by merging extensive, fully integrated services with the highest security standards. It has regulated hubs in Switzerland, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong.

Anes Fific, COO at AMINA Bank commented, “Our partnership with Pyth is an important milestone in AMINA’s dedication to integrate the Web3 world with traditional finance. As these worlds come closer together, AMINA is proud to be at the forefront of this transformation. By working with Pyth to provide our digital asset price data, we can give users in digital finance more robust data and information they need to make informed decisions about DeFi and crypto.”

Michael Cahill, CEO of Douro Labs: “As Pyth Network expands its on-chain financial price data offerings for smart contract developers, we are pleased to welcome AMINA Bank to the community of data providers. By providing this data, AMINA Bank is able to generate an entirely new revenue stream for their business without incurring significant costs.”
