Fund services provider Zedra has agreed to buy Lugano-based independent corporate and services provider Talenture.

Founded in 1989, Talenture focuses on offering consulting and corporate services solutions for international entrepreneurs and corporations.

The acquisition will expand the firm’s presence into Switzerland’s Italian-speaking region.

The Lugano office marks Zedra’s fourth office in the country. The other three offices are located in Zug, Zurich, and Geneva.

With the deal, Zedra’s office count across the globe increases to 17 while its combined employee strength in Geneva, Lugano, Zurich and Zug rises to 70.

The deal, whose financial terms were not divulged, is anticipated to complete by this year-end.

As part of the deal, Zedra will absorb Talenture’s existing leadership including Michele Antonini, Giuseppe Costantino, Uberto Meraviglia Mantegazza and Michele Meretti.

Antonini will become the managing director of Zedra Lugano.

Zedra group director corporate, funds & legal Ivo Hemelraad said: “We believe that our new office in Ticino will allow us to target new markets in Switzerland and bring into our group individuals with tremendous expertise.

“Our business is well positioned to capitalise on many attractive growth opportunities within the Swiss fashion valley and we are very confident this acquisition will further enhance the full range of corporate services we already have to offer all our active wealth clients.”
