Wilmington Trust has hired Anthony Lunger as new managing director for Wealth Advisory in the Delaware market.

In his new role, Lunger will head a team of wealth advisors across the state and will work closely with commercial banking officers and trust professionals to provide wealth management advice to high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, and executives.

Additionally, he will deal with clients and their advisors to develop financial strategies to help clients meet their current needs and plan for their long-term objectives.

Lunger, who has joined Wilmington Trust in 1999, most recently served as manager of the Reader Services Department at U.S. News & World Report in Washington, DC. Prior to that, he worked in the Foreign Policy Division of the Heritage Foundation.
