US-based wealth advisory firm Wilmington Trust has appointed Sharon Klein as the new president for its Tri-State Region.
Based in New York, Klein will be responsible for managing all wealth management operations across the region that includes Greater New York, Connecticut, Long Island, and Northern New Jersey.
Klein, who has over 20 years in the wealth management sector, joined Wilmington Trust in 2013 as managing director of family office services and wealth strategies for the New York Metropolitan market.
Her previously worked as managing director and head of wealth advisory services at Lazard Wealth Management, head of the estate advisement department at Fiduciary Trust Company International, and special counsel in the trusts and estates Department at Rosenman & Colin (now Katten Muchin Rosenman).
Wilmington Trust head of U.S. markets for wealth advisory division Larry Gore said: “The expanded regional responsibilities will allow Sharon to share her expertise and leadership with more of our wealth management teams throughout these markets.”
