Based in Delaware, Canner will serve Wilmington Trust’s clients nationally. He will report to William LaFond, managing director of business development for Wilmington Trust’s Family Wealth group.
Canner brings more than 15 years of financial experience to his role. He joins Wilmington Trust from Knight Capital Group where he served as director of institutional sales.
Previously, Canner was senior vice president for financial planning with US Trust Company in New York, providing comprehensive financial, investment, and estate planning services for high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career, he served as senior financial counselor with Ernst & Young in New York.
