Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) has bolstered its multi-asset solutions team with the appointments of Eddie Cheng, Chenfei Ma, and Stephane Renevier.
Cheng has been appointed as the new head of international portfolio management at WFAM.
Based in London, Cheng will manage the firm’s absolute return and alternative risk premia strategies. At the same time, he will work with the multi-asset solutions team head of research Wai Lee to drive the expansion of Wells Fargo’s operations in Asia.
Cheng most recently served as a senior portfolio manager within the multi-asset team at Schroders. In the new role, he will report to WFAM president and head of multi-asset solutions Nico Marais.
Ma will serve as an investment analyst within the multi-asset solutions team, while Renevier will serve as a portfolio manager. The pair will be based in London and will report to Cheng.
Ma and Renevier join WFAM from Schroders, where they worked on the multi-asset team.
