Since 2009, Skea has served as Sales and Strategy Leader for the Affluent Customer Segment (ACS) in Wells Fargo’s Community Bank. Prior to his work with ACS, Skea was head of Marketing, Communications and Cross Sell for Wells Fargo’s Wealth Management Group. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Charles Schwab where he held positions in retail brokerage sales management, operations, call center management and national sales training.
As head of the Wells Fargo Advisors’ Client Contact Center, Skea and his team will build upon their success in developing a best-in-class approach to serving investors through call centers and nearly 600 team members in Salt Lake City, St. Louis and Charlotte. "Martin’s well rounded perspective and experienced leadership will be crucial to Wells Fargo Advisors as we develop new ways to deliver a consistently excellent experience to all brokerage clients," said Brand Meyer, president of the Independent Brokerage Group.
Skea will serve on the Wells Fargo Advisors’ Management Committee. His community service includes membership on the board of EARN, a non-profit that provides low-income families with tools to build wealth and achieve life-changing goals.
