d1g1t, a Toronto-based wealth management firm, has completed a C$9m ($6.8m) Series A funding round led by Purpose Financial.
Purpose, backed by the Ontario Municipal Pension Retirement System (OMERS), is also a client of d1g1t. The firm’s purpose advisory solutions platform has been working with the d1g1t for the past one year.
Purpose CEO Som Seif said: “Advisers and business leaders can now manage their business real-time through business intelligence and continuity reports, advisers can focus on value-added activities, and their families and clients can get full transparency through an integrated client experience and modern reporting.”
Extreme Venture Partners and Portag3, alongside a group of angel investors and clients also joined in the new funding round.
With the new capital, the firm plans to expand its cloud-based enterprise digital wealth management platform.
The platform is designed to offer portfolio management services to advisers and their clients leveraging analytics and risk management tools.
