Vistra, a provider of trust, fiduciary and fund administration services, has acquired Intro International, a Singapore-based corporate services provider, for an undisclosed sum.

Intro offers corporate secretarial, accounting as well as tax compliance services, with clients including trading firms from the UK and Australia seeking to set up Singapore presence.

Intro director Graham Harkness will join Vistra Singapore as director of international expansion services as part of the deal. Intro managing director and founder Duncan Merrin will remain with the firm and serve as a consultant to Vistra following the transition period.

Vistra CEO Martin Crawford calls the deal a “good fit” for the firm’s strategic focus, especially for its international expansion services unit.

Vistra Singapore managing director Chris Burton said: “This transaction not only strengthens our market presence, but the strong relationships Intro International has with various trade bodies can also help us to tap into new client base which will widen our business referrals outside Singapore.”
