The two industry veterans have been hired to key positions within Ascent Private Capital Management, the bank’s wealth advisory business for UHNW clients.
Michelle Walker has been appointed to Ascent’s new Seattle office as the managing director of investment consulting responsible for providing clients with customized investment plans. Previously, she was with Cascade Investment, a HNW family office in Seattle, where she served as an investment specialist and money manager for 10 years. And prior to that, she managed a multimillion-dollar mortgage-backed securities trading business.
Additionally, Robert Stadler has joined Ascent as managing director of private banking. He was previously the vice president and regional credit executive in Bank of America’s wealth management business and before that vice president with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.
The duo will be supported by a national wealth advisory team that provides wealth impact planning, financial administration and other expertise in the Pacific Northwest.
The Seattle Wealth Office which opened earlier this year has 10 employees in total and the new hires are the latest in a string of staff additions.
