Swiss banking giant UBS has launched a new mobile banking app, dubbed UBS Twint, in Switzerland.
The free app, which is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, is ideal for people with a UBS account or a Swiss credit card of any kind.

When a user will pay with UBS Twint, the amount will be debited directly to from the bank account. The app will also allow users to save any Swiss credit or prepaid card.
With this payment solution, users can make payments at Coop and Interdiscount, Selecta vending machines and at online shops such as Digitec, Brack, Microspot and Galaxus.
Twint said that the app will also be launched by various other Swiss banks, including BCV, Credit Suisse, PostFinance and Raiffeisen during this summer.
