UBS picks up two ‘global’ awards in Private Banker International’s global summit and awards.

Taking place in Singapore, PBI’s annual global awards highlight industry successes. UBS collected the prestigious ‘Outstanding Global Bank’ award and the bank’s very own August Hatecke picked up the ‘Outstanding Global Private Banker’ award.

Having a strong global network is imperative to any winner of the ‘Outstanding Global Private Bank’ award. UBS is the world’s largest wealth manager, with over $2.4 trillion in invested assets.

But simply being the largest private bank in the world is not enough to win this award. The judges were also impressed by UBS’s global network of offices and staff.

UBS operates from a strong leadership position, which is reflected in its global and diverse workforce of over 60,000 employees worldwide representing 133 nationalities and speaking more than 150 languages.

Close to 23,000 Global Wealth Management employees help to manage the finances of thousands of private clients including over half of the world’s billionaires. Additionally, the judges were also impressed by UBS’s offering of sustainable and ESG investment options. Any truly global private bank needs to stay ahead of this all-encompassing trend, and few can rival UBS in doing so.
