Union Bancaire Privee (UBP) has recruited Adrian Kunzi as the new CEO of its Zurich branch and head of the Northern Europe region within the private banking division.
Kunzi will join in the new role on 1 March 2018, with responsibility for managing the expansion of the Zurich branch, which is UBP’s second largest office globally.
He will also be responsible for driving the bank’s development in the Northern Europe region.
Kunzi most recently served as the CEO of Notenstein La Roche Private Bank, a role he held since 2012.
His financial career that spans more than two decades also includes a stint at Wegelin & Co. Private Bankers, where he worked for over 10 years in multiple roles including head of Western Switzerland.
UBP CEO of private banking Michel Longhini said: “Adrian Kunzi’s experience and his extensive local network will strongly contribute to expanding UBP’s activities and strengthening its position in the Zurich financial sector.”
