
The Moore Group has exited Morgan Stanley to join Rockefeller Capital Management’s Private Wealth Management platform.
Team details
The five-member team, headed by managing director Marie Moore, will join Rockefeller’s Dallas office.
The team also includes senior vice president and private wealth adviser Shawn Moore, associate vice president and client associate Robin Barry.
They are supported by senior associate and client associate Emily Lumley, as well as associate and client associate Cassidy Steck.
Moore noted: “The Rockefeller platform enables us to provide our clients with the resources of outstanding professionals who prioritise innovation, customization and unmatched client service.
“Our Dallas-based clients and their families will benefit greatly from the entire suite of the Firm’s services as we help them navigate their financial lives through current volatility and beyond.”
The Moore Group is the fourth to join Rockefeller this month.
The five-person team is the 24th addition to Rockefeller in 2020.
The team expands Rockfeller’s Central Division, which has Michael Armondo in charge.
Rockefeller provides family office, asset management and strategic advisory services to UHNWIs, institutions, and corporations.
Recent developments at Rockfeller
A week ago, three private wealth management teams – the FMC Group, Amsler, Laborde & Bowman, and the ZWMG Team –joined Rockfeller.
The three will be based in Walnut Creek, Houston, and Scottsdale, respectively.
Meanwhile, last month, Rockefeller launched a new office in Scottsdale.
The Legacy Family Wealth team, led by Kenneth Milano as the managing director, is the first team to join the office.
Acquisitions by Rockfeller
In 2018, Rockefeller agreed to buy Greer Anderson Capital, a Connecticut-based private investment manager serving UHWIs.
Last year, Rockefeller agreed to acquire California-based multi-family office Financial Clarity.
