American investment firm T. Rowe Price Group has appointed Celine Dufetel as its new CFO, replacing Ken Moreland who will retire after spending around 14 years at the firm.

Based in Baltimore, Dufetel will manage all financial activities of the firm along with functions within the CFO group such as finance, treasury, risk, audit, corporate real estate & facilities, and business services.

She will also manage the corporate strategy team and spearhead the firm’s relationships with analysts and stockholders.

Dufetel will join T. Rowe Price as vice president in December 2017 and assume the roles of CFO and treasurer in 2018. She will report to the firm’s president and CEO, Bill Stromberg.

Dufetel is currently the managing director and the global head of marketing and client service at Neuberger Berman. She previously worked at McKinsey & Company.
