Stanhope Capital, the global investment office, has created a Real Estate Advisory Board, the latest proposition of its wealth management services.
The board will be led by Stanhope Capital’s CIO Jonathan Bell.
"The real estate sector is a key asset class and although it has generally recovered well since the depths of the financial crisis there are still areas and managers that have the potential to create value for our clients," said Daniel Pinto, co-founder and chief executive of Stanhope Capital.
The firm has also made two appointments to the newly-created board.
Bruce Bossom, co-founding partner of Orion Capital Managers, the European real estate investment firm, and William Hill, former head of property at Schroders will join the firm.
Bossom is one of the founding partners of Orion Capital Managers, L.P. and serves as Managing Director. He focuses primarily on directing investment and asset management activities in the United Kingdom and asset management activities in Europe including Germany, Italy and Spain.
Hill, previous to Schroders, was chairman of the Association of Real Estate Funds. Hill is a non-executive director of Mayfair Capital, an advisor to Ashby Capital and the Goldsmiths Company.
Stanhope Capital, with offices in London, Geneva and Cayman, provides investment management and advisory services to private clients, charities and endowments. The firm oversees approximately $9 billion AuM on behalf of wealthy entrepreneurs, families, charities and other institutions.
