Standard Chartered and banking software firm Temenos have extended their strategic partnership to support the bank’s Financing and Securities Services offering.
The bank’s Financing and Securities Services arm provides custody, clearing, fiduciary and fund services, securities lending and prime service. It provides this to client segments that include insurance, asset management and also sovereign wealth funds. Its footprint covers 22 markets across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Furthermore, it will have new service offerings including automations throughout the investor servicing lifecycle with higher levels of operational efficiency. This frees up operations teams from manual tasks.
With Temenos’ technology stack, Standard Chartered can now offer futuristic services to its clients, improve client experience and utilise this growing market opportunity as a leading alternatives administrators.
