three senior bankers as part of efforts to sustain double-digit
growth in its North East Asia business.
Lionel Kwok begins as head of investment
advisory for North East Asia from this month.

By GlobalDataTrevor Mak joins as head of relationship
management for Hong Kong and Stella Kong starts as head of
relationship management for China.
Kwok is responsible for building up the
private bank investment advisory activities across North East Asia,
including Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Korea.
Kwok was previously head of investment
solutions for North Asia at Credit Suisse and head of global
markets Asia at Fortis Bank in Hong Kong.
North East Asia regional head of private
banking Stephen Richards Evans said Standard Chartered saw 26%
growth in assets under management in Asia last year.
“We see wealth growing at a good low double
digit rate in our part of Asia going forward,” he added.
