US-based wealth advisory business Snowden Lane Partners has expanded its national footprint by setting up a new office in Chicago.
Located at 151 North Franklin in downtown Chicago, the newest branch is advisory firm’s eleventh office in the US.
Thomas Boyd and James Richard will be in charge of the Chicago office. The pair previously managed $180m in assets at JP Morgan Securities, where they dealt with individuals, business owners, as well as corporate executives.
Prior to joining JP Morgan, the duo served at Credit Suisse.
Snowden Lane managing partner and CEO Rob Mooney said: “A Chicago presence helps expand our national footprint in another key metropolitan market.
“This year, our firm has experienced significant growth and after opening our new Miami/Coral Gables office in June, we couldn’t be happier to follow up with the news of Jim and Tom joining in on our success.”

In June this year, the firm established an office in Coral Gables, its first office in Florida and tenth overall.
Snowden Lane’s other offices are located in New York City, which serves as its base, Pasadena, San Diego, New Haven, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Salisbury, Bethesda, and San Antonio.
