SPW said that the clients in London will continue to be served by its headquarters in London.

The launch of Leeds office follows a series of office opening by the firm across the country, including in Cardiff, Bristol, Horsham, Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh, Exeter and Manchester.

Each region is headed by a regional director with support from a team of personal wealth advisers and a local support team.

SPW chief executive Mark Duckworth said: “The opening of our Leeds office shows our continued commitment to growing our business across the UK.

“We already have a number of well-established regional offices helping us to achieve our goal of bringing more advice to more people. Expanding our regional presence will ensure that our clients can benefit from a more personal and local experience, allowing them to develop strong relationships with our advisers and support teams within the region.”

SPW is a joint venture between n Lloyds Banking Group and Schroders.
