British fund manager Schroders has named Jason Yu as the new head of multi-asset product for the north Asia region.

Based in Hong Kong, Yu will work with institutional and intermediary clients in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

He will report to Garth Taljard, head of multi-asset management at Schroders.

Yu most recently served as investment director in multi-asset for Asia Pacific at Standard Life Investments (SLI), Hong Kong.

His 13-year financial career also includes stints at Wellington Management, Wells Fargo and Barclays Capital.
