British asset management company Schroders has appointed Karine Szenberg as the head of Europe, a newly created position.
Szenberg will take over the new role immediately, with responsibility for supporting the firm’s operations across Continental Europe and the Middle East.
He joined Schroders in 2014 in the role of country head of France.
Schroders global head of distribution John Troiano said: “Karine and her team have successfully built our French business across both institutional and intermediary channels, over the past three years. The prospects for our business in Continental Europe remain strong and I look forward to working with Karine in this expanded role.”
Currently, the Continental European business represents around 23% of Schroders’ total assets under management.
The company has planned to make further investments in the region to strengthen its business and distribution capabilities.
