Savills Investment Management (Savills IM), a real estate investment management firm, has reshuffled its senior management team to drive growth across the globe.

As part of the changes, the firm’s chairman and global CEO, Justin O’Connor, has been handed over the additional responsibility of CEO of Asia Pacific. O’Connor will move to Hong Kong to take up the new role.

Nick Cooper, who joined the firm in January 2017 in the role of a senior adviser, has been named as its new deputy chairman.

Cooper will also manage the Global Investor Services unit, with responsibility for client relationships mainly top global investors and consultants.

Giuseppe Oriani has been appointed CEO for Europe at Savills IM, with responsibility for heading 13 offices and 250 employee European platform. At present, Oriani leads the firm’s Italy business.

Harry de Ferry Foster and Jon Crossfield have been named co-heads of the firm’s UK business.

Foster is currently the fund manager of the firm’s Charities Property Fund and Crossfield is the firm’s head of strategic partnerships in Europe, responsibilities that they will retain.

Foster and Crossfield will now also be responsible for further developing the firm’s pooled fund and managed account business lines.

In addition, Carolina von Groddeck – currently in charge of the liquidation of the German SEB mutual funds – has been named as the head of Germany.

“Our strong growth over the last five years, rising from EUR 4.2bn AuM and 8 offices in 2013 to over EUR16.6bn AuM and 18 offices today, has led us to broaden our senior management team to promote continued global expansion,” O’Connor noted.
