Fund administrator SANNE has named David Fowler as the new country head for its Singapore business, replacing Valérie Mantot.

Operating out of Singapore, Fowler will manage the firm’s alternatives and corporate offering in the city.

Fowler has an experience of over six years in the private equity and venture capital space in Singapore.

He most recently served at PwC Singapore.

He held the role of a director at the Venture Hub of PwC.

Meanwhile, Mantot will now serve as the head of business development for Asia Pacific and Mauritius at SANNE.

In this role, Mantot will be tasked with improving the firm’s brand profile in various Asian markets such as India, Dubai and Mauritius.

SANNE managing director of Asia-Pacific business Jing Jing Qian said: “We have ambitious plans for our APAC business and there is much to deliver in 2019 and beyond.

“I look forward to working closely with David in his new role as Country Head − Singapore. His background in private equity and venture capital will be a great asset in helping SANNE deliver its future development and regional growth plans.”

The latest appointment comes close on the heels of Malcolm Hassan’s appointment as the managing director of business development and marketing at SANNE.

Hassan joins from RBS.

SANNE recently also appointed Mark Bennett as the country head of its Japan business.
