Sanlam FOUR, the investment management unit of Sanlam UK, is rebranding as Sanlam Investments in an effort to become more closely aligned with the wider group.
The new brand became effective on 12 November 2018. Sanlam Investments currently oversees £5.3bn of assets in the UK across various active strategies.
Sanlam Investments CEO Alfio Tagliabue said: “With the UK becoming an increasingly important part of the Sanlam Group, Sanlam Investments has been positioned as Sanlam’s international centre of excellence for asset management further leveraging the group’s scale and success.
“Offering experience, a boutique ethos, and client-first thinking, Sanlam Investments will continue to focus on delivering differentiated, active management capabilities for our existing and prospective clients.”
The rebranding comes five years after the acquisition of FOUR Capital Partners by Sanlam. Following the takeover, FOUR Capital Partners was renamed as Sanlam FOUR.
Sanlam UK CEO Jonathan Polin said: “By renaming to Sanlam Investments, we feel much more aligned to our global parent and ultimately it will be our clients who benefit from this.
“Our new branding across the Sanlam UK business reinforces our commitment to clients that we will look after their money with skill, dedication and pride.”
The latest move comes two months after Man GLG’s acquisition of Sanlam FOUR’s strategic bond business.
