Bank j. Safra Sarasin has hired a new Managing Director for its client advisory business in Singapore.
Jeffrey M. Benjamin joins the Swiss bank as they set to increase their presence in Asia, and will focus on their ultra high net worth clients.
Benjamin joins from HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) where he was a managing director and team head of international private wealth. Based in Singapore he started with HSBC in 2011.
Previously Benjamin had been Investec Bank’s head of specialised opportunities in London. In this role he was responsible for developing investment opportunities and structured products across asset classes for ultra high net worth individuals.
Speaking about the appointment Enid Yip, CEO Asia for Safra Sarasin said: "Jeffrey is an extremely experienced private banker, with proven expertise in serving ultra high net worth individuals. As we further our expansion in Asia, and particularly in Singapore, we continue to recruit professionals with impeccable expertise and reputations."
