UK-based RC Brown Investment Management has appointed Neil Whelan as its new investment director.
Whelan will work alongside RC Brown CEO Alan Beaney and head of managed funds Glenn Meyer, managing clients of the firm's bespoke portfolio service that has assets of more than £90m.
He most recently served as an investment director managing clients in the bespoke portfolio service at Towry. Prior to that, he served as investment director at Principal Investment Management.
Commenting on the new appointment, Beaney said: "We are absolutely delighted to secure someone of Neil's experience and calibre at this stage in our firm's development, with discretionary assets now exceeding £100m and group assets under admin and management of close to £225m.”
