RBC Wealth Management has decided to lay off 36 employees in Jersey, Guernsey, London and Edinburgh offices.
The affected offices employ a total of 1200 staff. RBC Wealth Management senior manager of communications Fiona McLean said that the move is in response to changing client requirements.

“As a result, we have made some difficult decisions and a small number of people are leaving our British Isles wealth management business. We will provide support and assistance to those affected by these changes,” McLean noted.
McLean also said that the company is creating new roles internally and investing strategically in technology wherever necessary.
