Raymond James recruited financial advisor Keith Morris, according to Tom Harrington, regional director of Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the firm’s independent broker/dealer.
Morris is managing director of Morris Capital Management Group, an independent firm with offices at 200 Barr Harbor Dr. in Conshohocken, Pa. Securities are offered through Raymond James Financial Services, member FINRA/SIPC.
Harrington said: "We are pleased to welcome Keith to Raymond James’ independent channel. He is a talented advisor who shares the firm’s client-first mentality and recognizes the benefits of Raymond James’ advisor-centric culture. He is a great addition to our network of independent advisors."
Morris joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo, where he managed more than US$110 million in client assets and had annual fees and commissions of more than US$1 million.
Morris said: "There were several reasons why I decided to affiliate with Raymond James. The firm has a client-first attitude, a commitment to independence and technology that is off the charts. When visiting the home office, I got a feel for what Raymond James is all about. They really focus on maintaining an advisor-friendly culture so advisors have the technology and support they need to provide the best service to their clients. It makes for a wonderful firm."
Morris began his career in 1994 at Prudential Securities, later joining Legg Mason and Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors.
