Raymond James Financial has lured a three member team from Wells Fargo that managed annual fees and commissions of approximately US$2 million.
The team, which includes Robert Wood (Bob), Robert Wood Jr (Rob), and Carlton Brown, will operate as Wood Asset Management of Raymond James and will join the firm’s Richmond, Virginia office.
Bob, who joins as senior vice president, investments, has previously worked at firms such as Prudential Securities and Wells Fargo.
Also joining as senior vice president, investments, Rob will manage equity and fixed income investments, client relations and marketing initiatives in his new role. He previously worked for Hallmark Cards and PCS Management.
Additionally, Brown who joins the firm as vice president of investments has worked as an attorney and held management-level positions at several firms.
Additionally, the team includes senior registered sales associate Lola Wright, who has previously worked with Wells Fargo Advisors.
In his new role, Wright will be responsible for opening client accounts, moving funds and assisting with client services.
