Quintet Private Bank, founded 75 years ago in the Grand Duchy, has named Stéphane Pardini as head of wealth management, Luxembourg.

Pardini joined Quintet Luxembourg with 25 years of expertise advising high net worth individuals and families, leading teams, and delivering business success.

Pardini, who will report to Chris Allen, the CEO of Quintet Group, was formerly the managing director of J. Safra Sarasin (Luxembourg) and the French branch of the company, which he helped build.

He previously worked with Edmond de Rothschild for nearly two decades, eventually reaching to the post of Deputy CEO of Edmond de Rothschild (Europe), which is situated in Luxembourg.

Pardini started his career with EY before moving on to UBS. He has a degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the Grenoble École de Management and a master’s degree from HEC Entrepreneurs, a French business school.

In the meantime, Quintet also appointed Thomas Klein as group head of asset servicing and financial intermediaries. In his new position, which includes responsibility throughout Europe and the United Kingdom, he will also report to Allen.

Klein, a German national, will lead Quintet’s Asset Servicing division in Luxembourg beginning January 2021. Recently, he took on additional interim responsibility for Quintet Luxembourg’s Wealth Management activities.

Moreover, Klein used to be head of service delivery, asset servicing, and a member of UBS Luxembourg’s Executive Business Committee. He spent time as chief risk officer at UBS Luxembourg, with responsibilities spanning multiple European branches.

Allen stated: “We are very pleased to welcome Stéphane to Quintet Luxembourg, where he will drive the ongoing growth of our private client business, serving families here in the Grand Duchy and, from Luxembourg, across Europe. At the same time, we are delighted to announce Thomas’s new responsibilities, reflecting the close alignment between our Asset Servicing and Financial Intermediaries business lines and his outstanding leadership over the past four years.”
