Quantifeed, a Hong Kong-based B2B robo-advisory firm, has set up a new office in Singapore.
The latest move comes shortly after the completion of the firm’s Series B funding round. The funding round raised $10m in capital from Taiwan’s Cathay Financial Holdings and American asset manager Legg Mason.
The robo-advisory firm also appointed Eric Lee as programme management lead and country head of Singapore. Lee will report to chief technology officer and co-founder Ross Milward.
Lee has spent more than three decades in the investment banking industry. He previously served in engineering leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
“We are excited to welcome Eric to the Quantifeed team. He brings a unique blend of strategic, technical and business experience to Quantifeed’s executive team. His guidance will be instrumental as we leverage our quantitative and technology capabilities to enhance the wealth management platforms of financial institutions in the region,” Milward stated.
Lee will be assisted by Shadab Taiyabi, who has joined Quantifeed as senior executive for strategic partnerships, and Keith Tan, who has been appointed as senior systems engineer.
