Regions Bank has appointed Leslie Carter-Prall as the head of private wealth management for the bank.

Carter-Prall joined Regions in 1991 and most recently served as the executive of private wealth management central region.

She will now report to Regions head of wealth management Bill Ritter.

“Leslie’s industry experience spans more than 25 years, and her background and strong leadership skills will support our efforts to meet our clients’ unique financial needs through personalised service and local expertise,” Ritter said.

Carter-Prall replaces Kate Danella, who was appointed Head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development.

Danella has now been appointed as the firm’s head of strategic planning and corporate development.

In the new role, Danella will spearhead a team managing enterprise-wide strategic planning; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; as well as corporate development. She will report to president and CEO John Turner.

“Kate brings a strong background in strategy, customer service, team building and creative thinking to this important role. Under her leadership, Regions will work collaboratively across the company and with external stakeholders to create shared value for our customers, associates, communities and shareholders,” Turner said.
