The Private Banker International Global Wealth Summit and Awards will be held in Singapore on Friday 12th October.

This one-day event, and elegant awards dinner, will bring together some of the leading private banks and wealth managers from around the world to discuss the most critical pressures facing the industry today.

For 27 years this industry leading event has attracted key private bankers to Singapore. The PBI global awards recognise the best of these individuals and institutions in providing for the industry and its clients – high net worth individuals.

The event’s chair and incoming editor of PBI, Oliver Williams, draws on some of the themes to be discussed on the day: “A decade on from the financial crises there appears to be a new set of issues facing the financial sector: trade wars and anti-globalisation, technology and cybercrime, cryptocurrencies and volatility.

“These issues affect private banking, but too do the industry’s own quirks. So alongside the big themes we must not omit the small: Succession, profitability, regulation, innovation and so on.”
