Portuguese law firm PLMJ has reportedly established a Swiss desk and opened an office in Lausanne to target high-net-worth-individuals (HNWIs) work.
The new office will be led by partner Nuno Cunha Barnabé, who was recently admitted to practice in the canton of Vaud, according to a thelawyer.com report.
The website quoted Cunha Barnabé as saying that Switzerland is popular among Portuguese HNWI as a location for their assets.
Barnabé added that the project was the result of increasing instructions relating to Switzerland and the fact he was travelling to Switzerland more often.
