Plancorp, a Missouri-based wealth management firm managing $3.9bn in assets, has opened a new branch in Nashville, Tennessee.
The new branch will focus on offering financial planning for the region’s healthcare community, entrepreneurs as well as small business owners.
The branch will be led by wealth manager Kyle Attarian, who specialises in working with medical professionals and entrepreneurs.
Plancorp president Chris Kerckhoff said: “One of the qualities we love about Nashville is the forward-thinking, entrepreneurial spirit that bleeds into so many facets of the city’s business. We share that spirit here at Plancorp, and we believe our tools will help guide professionals to meet their business and personal goals.
“On top of that, we could not have a better leader than Kyle Attarian, who is very familiar with the Nashville community.”
“Unfortunately, many in the healthcare industry find themselves preyed upon by commission-seeking advisors who may give biased advice. We feel our independent, objective model—which means we are paid only by our clients—will especially resonate with them,” Attarian noted.
The firm’s other US offices are located in Webster Groves, Missouri and Sarasota, Florida. The firm employs a total of around 60 staff.
