Pictet Wealth Management has appointed David Gaud as the new CIO for its Asia business.
In his new role, Gaud will be responsible for managing investment strategies for the region’s private clients.

He will be based in Singapore and report to the firm’s CIO Cesar Perez Ruiz.
Gaud is joining Pictet Wealth Management from Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, where he most recently served as head of emerging equity. He joined the group in 2006 in France and later in Hong Kong as an Asian equities fund manager.
Gaud previously also served at HSBC Bank in Singapore and London, Deutsche Bank in London, and Fimat Bank in Singapore.
