Consolidator Perspective Financial Group has bought Investment Principles, a financial advisory business based in northwest England.
The acquired entity will join Perspective (West)’s operation, which has branches in Chester and Oswestry.
Investment Principles founder Kathy Richards will serve as a consultant, working with Perspective’s advisers to support the transition.
The deal, whose financial terms were not disclosed, marks Perspective’s second deal in a month.
The consolidator acquired Galloway Whitfield (Life & Pensions), a Newcastle-based financial advisory firm this January.
Perspective group practice director Ian Wilkinson, said: “This is another good acquisition for Perspective of a high-quality, well-respected IFA firm, which further builds our presence in north west England, an area of strength for the group where we already have a significant client base, which we are keen to build further.
“We welcome Kathy and her clients to the group. Our focus is on delivering an outstanding personal service to clients from local offices, supported by strong and professional central services including compliance, finance, marketing and HR, meaning advisers spend their time with clients.”
With the latest transaction, Perspective’s total number of acquisitions since its inception in 2008 stands at 33.
Wilkinson said that more acquisitions are in the pipeline across the UK.
The firm currently has 14 UK offices. It now intends to combine the financial advisory firms within the group to serve new clients.
