Pershing, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, has appointed Jim Crowley as its new COO, replacing Lori Hardwick who departed earlier this year to pursue other opportunities.
Crowley held various roles at Pershing, which he joined in 1982. He most recently was the firm’s chief relationship officer.
Previously, he served at the New York Stock Exchange, as well as headed the marketing and business development initiatives for Pershing’s fixed income business. He later joined the firm’s relationship management unit, where he helped build broker-dealer global relationship management team.
Crowley also sits on Pershing’s executive committee and is a part BNY Mellon’s senior leadership team.
Pershing CEO Lisa Dolly said: “Jim has been working closely with our clients to understand their needs, and his leadership will help us to continue to deliver solutions that empower our clients and improve the overall experience.”
