Scalable Capital, a digital investment service with offices in Munich and London, has appointed Thiemo Krink as its new CIO.
As CIO, Krink will be responsible for refining Scalable Capital’s quantitative and algorithm-based investment approach. To this end, he will work with the firm’s co-founder and scientific adviser Stefan Mittnik.

Krink most recently worked as the portfolio manager for multi-asset, alternative and insurance strategies at Allianz Global Investors.
Before joining Allianz, where he has been working since 2006, he was associate professor of computer science at Aarhus University in Denmark.
