Old Mutual Wealth has appointed John-Paul Crutchley (J-P) as the head of investor relations, a newly created role, as it prepares for a managed separation from its parent.
J-P will spearhead the firm’s standalone investor and shareholder relationship programme and will report to CFO Tim Tookey.
He most recently served as the head of investor relations at London-listed financial services group Atlas Mara. J-P previously also served at UBS, Merrill Lynch, and Barclays.
Meanwhile, Kerry Adams-Strump, who has been working for nine years at Old Mutual Group, has now been promoted to the role of investor relations director.
She previously served at Old Mutual and Old Mutual Emerging Markets in Cape Town and worked for CEO Paul Feeney for the past three years. She will report to J-P in the new role.
“J-P and Kerry make a fantastic team. J-P’s industry expertise and Kerry’s knowledge of our business will be a strong combination as we develop our standalone relationships with analysts and investors,” Tookey stated.
