
ODDO BHF (Switzerland) has appointed Thomas Burri as the head of private wealth management (PWM) Switzerland, effective 1 April 2025.
In this newly created role, Burri will oversee all PWM activities within the country and serve on the Swiss Management Committee.
He will report to ODDO BHF (Switzerland) CEO Martin Liebi and global head of private wealth management Joachim Hager.
Commenting on the new role, Burri said: “I am delighted to be able to contribute to the successful further development of PWM’s business in Switzerland with my expertise in supporting demanding clients and my management experience.”
Burri has over two decades of experience in international wealth management.
His career includes various leadership roles at Credit Suisse in Zurich and Hong Kong, where he managed high-net-worth individuals, particularly in Europe and Latin America.
After the merger of Credit Suisse into UBS, Burri served as the managing director at UBS in global wealth management, overseeing the special clients desk EMEA.
Burri began his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a management consultant.
