Northern Trust, a US-based investment management firm, has appointed Wim van Ooijen as the head of business activities in Switzerland.
As Swiss business head, Van Ooijen will report to Northern Trust head of global fund services, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Clive Bellows.

Van Ooijen joined Northern Trust in 2004 and at present serves as the firm’s country head in the Netherlands and Germany. He will retain his role at the Germany business in addition to his new responsibilities and will continue to manage the Dutch office till a successor is appointed.
He previously also held the role of head of asset servicing business relationship management team based in Amsterdam and senior relationship manager in the Dutch team.
